But what’s a girl to do when on a germ-ridden airplane?Turns out, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has a neat little trick to ward off illness while flying. In her now-defunct lifestyle blog, ‘The Tig’, Meghan wrote back in 2016 about a valuable travel tip given to her from a dear friend: put a little Neosporin on a cotton swab and coat the inside of your nostrils with it.But the best part? Her friend got the tip from none other than Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio.Celebrities – they’re just like us! They get sick on airplanes and are suckers for home remedies, too!Meghan wrote: “Not only does it create a barrier for germs, it also lubricates the skin in the nose. That’s important because when the skin cracks, germs can come running in, so the coating of the Neosporin doubly protects you.”And although she couldn’t say whether DiCaprio actually does this, Meghan confirmed that she does. “It’s a great tip. Try it!”More news:  Virgin Voyages de-activates Quebec accounts at FirstMates agent portalSo if you never catch a bug again while on a flight, you know who to thank: a real-life princess.
