Amongthese, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degreesdesigned to prepare students for purposeful lives andcareers.About the Opportunity:A Postdoctoral Research position is available in the Slavov Laboratory to study thecoordination of post-transcriptional and metabolic regulatorymechanisms in single cells. We can support both projects initiatedby the candidate and suggest multiple projects tailored to thecandidates and funded by our ongoing projects, e.g., the Allen DistinguishedInvestigatorAward for tracking protein dynamics in single cells. We areparticularly interested in advancing single-cell proteomicstechnologies (SCoPE-MS,SCoPE2) and applying them to excitingbiological problems, such as the regulation of macrophagepolarization and other areas outlined in this article: Slavov, 2020DOI: 10.1126/science.aaz6695 The successful applicant will join a collaborative state-of-the-artlaboratory with multiple LC-MS/MS systems and is expected to buildstrong collaborative partnerships within the group, as well as todevelop and drive new projects within the scope of the Single-cell proteomicscenter.Responsibilities:Performs basic or applied research of a limited scope, primarilyusing existing theories and methods. Assists the supervisor in theinterpretation and publication of results and grants. Maintains thelaboratory and may exercise functional supervision over supportingresearch staff. Primary responsibility is ensuring that theresearch is complete.Qualifications:Must have a Ph.D. or equivalent; be able to undertake substantiallyfull-time research or scholarship; work under the supervision of asenior scholar.
