Paul Morigi/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of the Broadway smash-hit “Hamilton,” appeared live on “Good Morning America” today and opened up about bringing the show to Puerto Rico in 2019.“We’re trying to raise millions” for hurricane recovery efforts, Miranda said. “We’ll have hundreds of $10 tickets available for Puerto Ricans on the island, but we’re also having super-expensive tickets and with those super-expensive tickets we’re hoping to restore arts funding to Puerto Rico for the next few years.”As for performing in the show, “I have to remember my lines,” he joked. “But I’m looking forward to doing it.”Thousands of people are still without power eight months after Hurricane Maria tore through the Caribbean island.Meanwhile, a new Atlantic hurricane season is less than a month away, and many are concerned the U.S. territory is unprepared for any new storm-related threats.Miranda, who is of Puerto Rican descent, has been taking recovery and relief efforts into his own hands. In October 2017, Miranda brought together 21 fellow musicians to record the track “Almost Like Praying” under the collective name “Artists for Puerto Rico.” The proceeds from the song were donated to hurricane relief efforts.“I called every famous Latino person I know,” Miranda said. “We got 21 artists to sing on this song to benefit the Hispanic Federation.”Moreover, through the Hispanic Federation, Miranda has helped raise over $35 million for recovery efforts. He also spent time volunteering on the ground and saw firsthand the rebuilding of a bridge from Morovis to San Lorenzo that had been destroyed by the storm.Despite the long road ahead, Miranda promised to perform “Hamilton” in Puerto Rico in January 2019, tweeting last month that the show will go on whether he has to perform with a “flashlight under my face” or belt out the music “because there’s no power to the mics.”“That’s what I’m gonna do,” he wrote. “See you in January no matter what.”This morning, the launch of Miranda’s latest project, “Hamilton: The Exhibition,” was announced. The traveling exhibition is an interactive, museum-like experience that will debut in Chicago, according to The New York Times.“It’s a 360-immersive experience,” Miranda said today on “GMA.” “I’m in your ear as your loving narrator as we go through Hamilton’s life and times. It’s a deeper dive on the history we couldn’t get into the show.”Copyright © 2018, ABC Radio. All rights reserved.

The Bar has already taken a large first step, according to President-elect Bill Schifino. Working with the Florida Law Related Education Association and the LeRoy Collins Institute at Florida State University, as well as several other organizations, the Bar has printed 120,000 copies of a six-page citizens’ guide to the CRC process. Fifty thousand copies have been provided to the League of Women Voters and the rest will go to other organizations for dissemination throughout the state. “This is something near and dear to us,” Schifino said at an October 28 press conference announcing the launch of a multi-organization CRC education and monitoring effort. “We are very proud to be partners with other fine organizations throughout the state, and we too look forward to be part of the process of engaging, educating, and empowering Floridians to get involved in this upcoming CRC.” He noted the Bar has created a special committee to oversee the CRC. “Our goal is to monitor the activities of the 2017-18 commission and to coordinate The Florida Bar’s role as an authoritative, unbiased resource for those engaged in the CRC process,” Schifino said. “This special committee will in addition act as a clearinghouse in reviewing CRC proposals for possible legislative or political action by The Florida Bar or other subgroups and will further coordinate the Bar’s information and educational outreach to the public.” Schifino noted that the Bar also worked with the Collins center 20 years ago to publish a CRC citizens’ guide. “The Florida Bar looks forward to continuing our collaboration with the partnership and ensuring that all Floridians have the knowledge and tools they need to get involved in the 2017-18 Constitution Revision Commission,” Schifino said. “I believe he’s a player that can really make a difference for us,” said Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.“We had a clear intention to strengthen in the attacking midfielder and the winger positions.”Willian made 339 appearances, scored 63 goals and made 56 assists for Chelsea after signing from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for £30m in 2013.Throughout his seven years at Chelsea, he won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and the Europa League. “He is a player that gives us a lot of versatility, he can play in three or four different positions,” added Arteta.“He has the experience of everything in the football world but still has the ambition to come here and contribute to bring the club where it belongs.“I have been really impressed with all the talks I have had with him and how much he wanted to come.”An established international, Willian has made 70 appearances and has scored nine goals for five-time world champions Brazil, since making his international debut in 2011.He has represented his country at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, the 2015 Copa America, the Copa America Centenario, and the 2019 Copa America where he was a key member of the squad that lifted the trophy on home soil. Technical director Edu said: “I know him very well, since a long time ago because we’ve been working together for the Brazilian national team and of course I was following him because he played for another club.“He has a lot of fantastic attributes as a person, as a football player of course, his character. I’m 100 per cent sure that everybody in the dressing room, the fans, myself and Mikel will enjoy having Willian in our side.“RelatedDebutants William, Gabriel, Impress As Arsenal Get Season Off To A FlyerSeptember 12, 2020In “England”Arsenal: Granit Xhaka Agrees January Move To Hertha BerlinDecember 27, 2019In “England”Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Commits Future To ArsenalSeptember 15, 2020In “England” Brazil midfielder Willian has joined Arsenal on a three-year deal after leaving Chelsea expired on a free transfer. The 32-year-old rejected the offer of extending with Blues because they were unwilling to match what the package the Gunners had on offer. He will wear the number 12 shirt at the Emirates.
One of the most famous supporters of Levski Petar Dimitrov, who has proved more than once in his life that he loves the club, commented on the situation of “Gerena”.Here is what he said during today’s march of the “blues”: “For the first time in many, many years, Levski fans have elected their president. Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has spoken to the Brazilian media this week, in an interview published on Esporte Interativo’s Youtube channel. The midfielder spent over a month in Portugal during quarantine, but is now back in England, where he follows the club’s training schedule at home.Silva has talked about how much he misses his friends from Manchester City, especially the Brazilians, even though they have a Whatsapp group only for Portuguese speakers at the club.“The most important thing is people’s health. Governments have the ability to decide what is best for people. I miss football, but we’ll take orders. Whatever is better, we will do it.”Speaking of the great couple of seasons that his teammates have been having, Silva said it’s unfair that none of them have been considered for the big individual awards.“There are teams that have more strength in social media and everything, I recently talked about De Bruyne, David Silva and Agüero not going to the Ballon d’Or fight. Collective awards are more important, but individual awards are important and they should’ve been recognised.”Esporte Interativo asked Silva to make a five-a-side team from those he’s played with, and there’s only one Manchester City star picked.“Ederson. Cristiano and Mbappe up front. Ricardo Carvalho on defence. I stay as the manager, can I? I’ll choose one more for the middle, I’ll choose Fabinho. The team is good, right?”To end the chat, Esporte Interativo also mentioned a few Manchester City players and asked Bernardo Silva to describe them in one word. He ended up adding a few lines from most.Sergio Aguero: “Goal.”Gabriel Jesus: “Joy. He arrives in a good mood every day at the training centre. Always cheerful, singing and dancing. Always in a good mood.”Kevin De Bruyne: “Vision. He sees passes that other players don’t see.”Ederson: “Calm. The coldness and calm is impressive.”Fernandinho: “Grit. Competitiveness, the grit he has on the field is impressive.”by Taboolaby TaboolaSponsored LinksSponsored LinksPromoted LinksPromoted LinksTrending TodayForge of Empires – Free Online GameBuild a City, Trade With Your Neighbors, Play With Your FriendsForge of Empires – Free Online GameUndo聽多多 Hearmore.asia1969年前出生的香港居民現可免費試戴頂尖的歐洲助聽器聽多多 Hearmore.asiaUndoHero WarsGetting this Treasure is impossible!
